Liverpool Cultural Year - Superlambanana as Mascot

My friend told me that I'm thinner now...Something for me to happy about..Yeah!! if...
A stupid question asked by another friend of my friend that: "Why you make up to class ah?" so loud & many other students heard about it...I just laugh inside my heart..hohoho!!!

Superlambananas which is like a lamb in shape & short of like the shape of bananas too... It's famous in Liverpool now. And starting 16 June (referred to a magazine called 'Your Move"), we can see hundreds of different edition for superlambananas.

Below were some of sculpture that we took along the ways to classes and back from classes.

The first and largest superlambananas was located near the place where I stayed & it was just in front of Avril Robart Building.

Pic: The first Superlambananas that we saw at the first day we arrived Liverpool.

Pic: Saw this on Sunday when out to Tesco to buy misc.

Pic: Took this today. The red in colour is representing Liverpool Football Team.

Pic: This was took in front of a church where it was opposite of my university that I'm studying now.

Pic: I think this will be the new Superlambananas. But don't know where does it located.

Cute right? We even saw another green in colour with leaves surrounding it in front of a dim sum restaurant. But didn't manage to took it's pictures yesterday. Next time, if I saw different edition I will update again..

Life in Liverpool for these 3 months Summer Programme

Still doing assignment till midnight...When I can finish it & starts study for next week exam?? Reference I didn't even touch yet!!! Ahhhh!!!!!

This is for my family to know that what I bought for my livings in UK...--mostly
Now added somemore~~

Pic: Yet Maggie still the best with egg & hotdog and others.

Pilates

Heard lecturer saying that it will be more cold next week...OMG!!!So, we need to wear like Eskimo???Just kidding. Tomorrow is a rainy day...Cold day again...sigh~~ At last my UK's simcard can use already.Yeah!!

Pilates was a type of exercise which I think is similar like Yoga in certain ways.
Below was my first Pilates DVD's which my mom gave to me when I saw it at her shop. I do some workouts back at home & found it useful. At first I though it was easy but actually not. It use more of your leg & hand muscle to work with it.

"Hit the Spot Pilates" by Denise Austin who was an instructor since years ago. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It can tone your body so that it will be in shape. My muscle hurts after my first time workout with it maybe too long didn't workout. However, it kind of fun & feel real good after few times exercising with it. But currently, didn't use it frequently at here.

Will find some time to work out with it when I'm free.

Pic: E-Siong Restaurant at my hometown -Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Good food provided. Hot spot for noodles lovers.
Assignment now-a-days & examination next Monday for the first subject since last week for me.

Korean Food Restaurant, K.K., Sabah.

*Sorry to inform that, the restaurant is no longer operating here*

Din't go out today... Just stay at home watching movies~~
Forgotten about my Korean food pictures which I took on my three months holiday before coming to Liverpool. Quite nice actually, cost RM10 per dish which we had.

A new Korean Restaurant which operated near my house, me and my sisters went there to have our dinner. At the same time, after we we wait a while...There were storm suddently and blackout.
Pic: Kim Chi!!! I like it very much. There were 2, one is carrot & one is normal Kim Chi that we can found in Supermarket.
Pic: 炸酱面

Pic: 麻辣面

There were varitey of dishes for us to choose- rice and noodles. But I choose noodles for my dinner.
Saw the candle? It's really black out that night until we finish our last dish of Korean Mee. Overall, is okay..Just need to wait for a long time for them to prepare for us. Maybe that restaurant was still new.
Location: Damai housing area, same block with Restaurant 2020.

Chilling with Friends at Clayton Square, Liverpool

I'm not that pity to stay at home by doing, but somehow I really would love to stay at home , even doing nothing, but watching DVDs when the weather was so Da** cold.
Actually going out with all my housemates, but they turn to go to Chester (another place to visit). Manage to go with one of my housemate who don't want to go with them.
Went out since 1pm and shop around here & there search whether anything to buy..especially cloths for us GIRLS!!! Quite tiring, so we manage to have a drink in a cafe inside Clayton Square called Noshncoffee. The person who serve us at the counter even talk to us,asking where are we from etc...He even offer himself to take pictures for us.
Pic: Drinks that we drank at there.

Pic: Saw us?? Cute lady( eh hemm..) taking pictures!!yeah...
Pic: She's one of the nicest girl that I've knew from Malaysia.
After a cup of nice coffee..& off we go...continue shopping & "wash our eyes" with all beautiful girls & things.

Thanks for my friends who visited my blog entries...I'm glad about it actually!!!
Yup!! Today went out to do some shopping around Lord Street which full of outlets like Miss Selfridge, Mark & Spencer, Primark, Top Shop, Top Man and many many more...

What I bought was some cloths, pants, socks etc..Look below & you will know..
Pic: The yellow pants is my friend's & others was mine..For my older sister..I bought H&M (you requested brand)- The pants was H&M cost Pound 10 for 2; the grey shirt was Primark (one of the cheapest outlet in town) was Pound 4, the black dress (forgotten brand) was Pound 3 (Is unbelievable)(^_*) and small item is Pound 1 (Primark) ler...kekeke.Quite cheap actually...

Sister (Meatball), I still don't dare to buy for you first cause I'm in doubt of selecting dresses for you actually...So how...You see below whether you like or not?
Pic: White dress, lenght till above knee. Cost around Pound 15.

Pic: Black dress, lenght till knee. Cost Around Pound15.

Pic: Red outfit which you can wear to work. Cost around pound 10. Saw H&M plastic or not??kekekkeke =P
Hmm...My friend told me that July will have Big Summer Sales will lots of cheap & beautiful stuff...So maybe will think of waiting till then, but what if cheap but not nice then what I suppose to do----Buy expensive then...Currently there were sales, not much but still okay...As for Primark, is like Mark & Spencer with a lot of sizes, variety of style (but very cheap) but still difficult to choose one from all of those..Maybe too crowed or XXX...I don't dare to say..

But is to far for us to walk from the place we stay until our university, but will manage to feel ok with it later...
The back side of my foot was hurt & got small pops on it..I think you know what I meant, when a person walk too much..Even I wear socks but is still the same.

pic: The old chapel in uni, but now is for students examination centre &etc..

On the first day when I arrive with my friend, we just walk around to see whether we can find things to buy...We manage to buy some, but we walk & walk & walk to search for places, roads etc...Luckily, their road is open and can link to many streets by foot or by cars..

We just snaps pictures, building that are beautiful...Church street was BEAUTIFUL!!! with Churches- old buildings...tower with clocks etc..

The birds was big in size..Even their dove was kind of fatty..

Lord street was magnificent with shopping shops & malls..I saw H&M (my elder sister requirement), Top Shop, Top Man, Miss Selfridge, & more...peoples singing at the street, their pubs start crowding when it is becoming dark..I saw ladies dances infront of a pub and a man dances and make fun for himself.

The sun here rises around 4.30am & sunset around 9.30pm here..so, we have more time to walk around...It's just unlucky that our class ends around 3pm or 4pm...& after that need to buy stuff for cooking.. I think will shops maybe Saturday or Sunday..wee....(^_^)V
