10th Anniversary Celebration PCA (KK) Charity Dinner & Concert - 100% Kylie

On 21st May, 2010, my family & I attended a charity dinner & concert held at Sutera Harbour, Kota Kinabalu. The purpose for the charity dinner was held by the Palliative Care Association (KK).

The function was crowded with people who are VIP from the Upper level. Ladies were beautifully dressed with night gowns & guys was on their tuxedo and bow ties.
It was awesome!

The function starts on 7.30 p.m. sharp.

With the concept of 1 Malaysia, the dinner served was served with fine dining (western), Indian, Chinese & Malay. The food was well served for most of the dishes.

Saliva drooling with wine & foods.

The dessert served was very Good! Cheese cake, chocolates cakes, chocolates and mango pastry.

The function was started with song by Raja Putri Atilia, who is a singer and a song write who made her name in the Malaysian Contemporary Jazz scene with her debut abum Sangkar 2007. Her voice was soulful enough that could melt a person.

They even have art auction for that night. These is one of the art that cost RM10,000.00 that bid by Datuk Masidi, the Minister of Tourism Sabah. And there was an art piece that cost RM20,000.00 bid by another VIP.

The funds collected will be donated to Palliative Care Association (KK) for those in needs.

Besides those, there was LUCKY DRAW which the prizes was Rolex Watch - Gerald Genta Series and Rolex President Series. Whoever bought the donation ticket of RM20.00 would have the opportunity of winning those 2 prizes, that person doesn't need to be a person who purchased the charity dinner tickets for that night. Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman who draws the prizes to a proud attitude Lawyer who attended the dinner and a lady who bought the donation ticket for RM20.00 sincerely.

They are really lucky!

The concert starts around 10.00 p.m. by Lucy Holmes who was also known as "100% Kylie". She came all the way from Melbourne, Australia for her Malaysia trip and performed in KK too!

She really looks the same as the real Kylie Minogue, but she wasn't petite like her.Even her voice, her appearance, her dances etc etc was the same!!

I surfed around the internet and I found out that she was dressed sexily compared with other tours in other places, maybe one of the reason was it was for the CHARITY dinner.

Some of the people was invited on stage. Besides, "Kylie" was walking around down the stage with her songs too!! She almost look the same with the real Kylie. Oh my~

A song or two before the end of the whole function and three of us (my younger sister, me and a friend) walked out for washroom and took some pictures with the board before others do.

The function was GREAT! I love the concert and the dinner (it would be better if it was 100% fine dining). Great experience for us and it would be good for attending the next similar function.

Bits & pieces in Singapore

Had a ordinary breakfast with my sister before starting our work in Suntec Convention Hall. =)

A friend of mine bring me for a walk at Orchard Road before we're going to Vivo City for meeting up another friend of mine.

Took this picture at ION Orchard. The shopping mall was full of branded goods, which bites our money. However, if you earning the local money, it should be okay!!!

The old man in red could spin the heavy beads on his waist. There was a newspaper cuts presented which it introduced about the old man.

The best chicken chop I had for the first time in my life till now!! It was crunchy and no oily feeling when we ate the chicken slices. Huixin ordered the add on chili for us & it was Scrumptious!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had those at Suntec City - the environment for me was food court look-a-like.
Want to have some more on my future trips to SGP.

Hmm~~~ Those foods that Huixin introduced me & my sister was superb!!!
The squid balls ---- Delicious. The yogurt ice cream -- Tempting!!

We are heading to the Japanese Restaurant and I passed Raffles Hotel which is the oldest hotel in Sgp. I saw Tiffany & Co., LV etc~~~~ Branded again!!

I'm sharing bits & pieces of places I went and snacks we had in few days!
There are more foods coming soon in the coming entries.

I see Red Banana in Sabah

Ate the red banana for the first time at Nabalu on my Kundasang trip with my parents and their friends.

It flesh is reddish in colour besides the normal yellow.

It is sweet and tastier compared to other types of bananas. Besides, we could find various types of bananas in Sabah.

Remember to have bananas one or two daily, it could cure our dry eye sickness (saw an article this morning about bananas), supplying energy to us and etc.

Good for us.

Pasta Mania at Vivo City, Singapore

In the end, the whole Singapore trip was packed with food food food!! and not much of visiting places such as Sentosa, Night Safari, Universal Studio etc...

Thanks to Huixin and her hubby for treating me dinner for two days!! I'm grateful and thanks to both of you!

Went to Pasta Mania for dinner on the second day I reached Singapore. Another friend of mine bring me for shopping and accompanying me from Suntec City to Orchard Road, and from Orchard to Vivocity just to meet them. Thank you Alex Teo!

I LOVE ITALIAN CUISINE!!

I had creamy chicken spaghetti for that night.

Garlic bread that could fill up our tummy in short period of time.

Mussel & clams spaghetti for the couple.

The pasta was GOOD. However, they told me that normally it wasn't that watery/ creamy.

The banana pizza was quite special, and it taste WOW~~~ I like it!! But I'm too fulll... to have another pieces.

The portion was enough for Asian like me though.

And the good news is we don't have to travel from places to places in Singapore to dine in. We either drop in at any shopping malls in Singapore or order for delivery and send to your doorstep in Singapore.

=)
Gee~~~ I want more in my second trip, and I want to eat my elder sister. Universal Studio if you know what I meant. *grin smile*

Holiday Trip to Kundasang, Sabah

The intention of waking up on 6.00 a.m. in the morning to get the shot of the beautiful sunshine, the mountain and breathing the fresh air at Kundasang.

It was around 6.30 a.m. when my roommate took this picture. We could see the whole mountain and it was covered with the fog after a while.

It was amaze.... TOTALLY!!!

Ah Chew Desserts, Singapore

Aw~~~ Me and my sister are missing the desserts at Singapore. It should be the first time since the last time that i could finish a big bowl of dessert by myself. **eye blinking**

At last, my sister and I went for a walk around Singapore after the travel and food fair was ended. On Monday, my sister's friend dated us at Bugis area for dinner and dessert.

TWO THUMBS UP for the dessert there. It was packed with people for the whole night. Their price was reasonable and the flavour of the dessert was SUPERB!!

It was my unforgettable moments there with the dessert that totally melt me away~~

I had mango sago (芒果西米露)- The yellowish in colour (picture above) and the mango's cube was sweet.

My elder sister had the dessert below. And it was the most recommended one there. Manggo cubes with pamelo cubes and honey dew cubes if I didn't mixed up (my sister will update if I'm wrong, do check my comment box if any).

I can't wait to have my second & continuous trips to Singapore! AND I want to go to Ah Chew Desserts again~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, meatball online!!!!! I want to go Universal Studio!!!!!!!!!!! and Ah Chew Dessert at Singapore!!
