KK【沙巴吃】 : Korea's No 1 BBQ Chicken Restaurant NOW in Kota Kinabalu!

- BBQ Chicken - 

People has been wondering about BBQ Chicken Restaurant in town. Just like them, I was the same as well, thought that "BBQ" was short form of "Barbecue", in fact, it represent Best of the Best Quality.

他们家有着各种美食，浓汤类， 韩国泡菜等等。 一间含有创意的连锁概念， 也为了要配合当地的口味， 他们也有研究部门好让这家连锁店可以持久。

- The Interior of BBQ Chicken Restaurant -

Instead of a commercial type of design, they opt for a cozy environment for friends and family or a simply dine in for business purpose. There were guests who celebrate their birthday there as well. :)

舒服的室内设计， 让客人感觉温馨。

- Sous Vide Chicken Salad - 

I would recommend their Sous Vide Chicken Salad to those who would like to eat clean and light. The special sauce they used as topping was something different. Portion was huge! It was my first to taste Vegetable salad with orange.

- Kimchi Deopbap - 

A quick dining meal that I would have ordered. All in one bowl and add one with a glass of beverage. 

Kimchi, rice and meat.

很简单， 又方便的选择。蔬菜与肉类都在碗里。

- Golden Olive Fried Chicken -

Look just the same as the one that we all of us knew. Crispy at the outside, juicy inside.

炸鸡好像那个出名的牌子。 试了还不错， 肉也不会干。

- Top : Combo 3 (Paris [Non Spicy] and Kanjang [Spicy]) and Bottom : Gangjeong Chicken -

I love Gangjeong Chicken, simply that it was spicy with hints of peanuts topping. A recommended dish for spicy lovers.

我喜欢 Gangjeong Chicken, 可是比较辣， 适合爱吃辣的朋友们。 有着花生粉的 Gangjeong Chicken 令它有种独特的味道。

- Top : Kimchijeon and Bottom : Pane Mushroom Soup -

My favourite Mushroom Soup! Bread was crunchy and nicely brownish baked. Mushroom was finely blended and this made such a filling mushroom soup. Tasty.

Did I told you that the menu in Malaysia by BBQ Chicken was localised to suit the local taste? A research group was professionally gathered just to maximize the customers satisfaction. Go and try!

Girls Talk at The GLASS Grill & Bar (Suria Sabah) & Korean BBQ Supul (City Mall), K.K.

Few weeks ago, one of my girl was a bitttt down heart of what happening to her, she dated me on Sunday to chill at one of the new restaurant in town.

- The GLASS Grill & Bar *Serve No Pork* -

Interesting concept of the restaurant which we could sit outside (under the Sun) and more over enjoying part of the scene of KK City.

I have been understood that the best time to sit out will be at 5.30pm onward, at least it won't be too hot or sweating while we are sitting out there.

As for us, we wanted to sit out but it was too warm, "Beh Ta Han" when it was 3.30 pm.

- What we had -

Light food and juice.

We had a long chat about what happening after years and years we didn't meet, and finally we managed to sit and CHAT. 

p/s : Although we didn't meet often, but we still friends and still good to each other. :)

- From the seat -

First of all, the GLASS concept of seeing through the view of K.K. City from those glasses.

- :) -

Some may say the food was average but as for what I would comment is, The GLASS is a nice place to chill. :) And another thing, the price totally fine!

So, we did hang out a bit, a short window shopping session and in the end, out of expectation, we actually hang out till 10.00 p.m. and I was exhausted. We went for dinner at City Mall. :)

- Appetizer -

It's tempting when there's spicy food! :)

We had our dinner and continue with another chatting session at Korean BBQ Supul at City Mall *Non Halal*. It's been a while since the last I hang out from day to night, NON STOP! My gosh!

You can't imagine my face of tiredness. haha :D And my girl friend still can talk talk talk. @_@

- Barbeque -

It was pork and it was GOOD! Very tasty Korean dinner we had!

Popping Eggs at OCHADO (茶の道) at Suria Sabah, KK

There's a new beverage franchise outlet in town since months ago!

OCHADO (茶之道)

Located at Suria Sabah and has been a hot topic by one person to another. Few weeks ago, mom requested us to go to Sunday Market, Gaya Street before she went to Europe and after the walk, we ended our day at Suria Sabah.

- Ochado -

We reached Suria Sabah approximately 10.00am., as there were no customer at their counter, might as well I buy a cup to try!

There was no Roasted Milk Tea available (it was still early and they haven't prepare the tea yet), therefore I bought Pop Egg Milk Tea.

Pop Eggs are made of Caramel! The sweetness of it blend together with the Japanese flavoured milky tea for sure suits me well. :) If compared with our milky tea by Yoyo Cafe (A well established Taiwanese beverage outlets), I definitely choose Ochado's Milky Tea and next I wanna try the Roasted Milk Tea that they are famous with!

I still remember the milky tea that I tried during my Taiwan trip, it was just the same. And as you all know, I went to KL weeks ago and tried Chatime, Pavilion for another time, it was disappointing as their milky was tasteless (no more Taiwanese tea flavour like before) and the colour of the milky tea just unusual. :(

Quality control always be an issue to solve.

So, Ochado is my new temptation when I drop by Suria Sabah for now :) AND of course coffee still the best! :D

【沙巴美食】 亚庇 - 法国菜 E 'delizioso! GRAZIE Ristorante (Italian Restaurant), K. K., Sabah

Located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, a warm and cozy atmosphered Italian Restaurant is there serving one of the finest Italian Food in town.

- Grazie -

It wasn't my first dined in the restaurant, I still remembered that I was there for the first time because of an invitation by Stephanie when I need some "air" and my second was with my family and their friends for dinner. Besides going to Little Italy, why don't we go to GRAZIE for a change. And changes turned out to be great for them too. :)

- The Bar -

Wines and Liquor for the night.

- The Menu -

Everything was nice. The food served, the services and the atmosphere which give us a relaxing feel.

The first time was good with a glass of wine and the second time was even better when we shared all the dishes ordered among more than five of us.

- Ice Lemon Tea -

Even their Ice Lemon Tea taste refreshing.

My second visit was bringing my newly bought Canon G12 together while snapping photographs for that night and it might not be perfect as you can see.

All the food we had was fine and scrumptious! A must try place in town with friendly owner Salvatore Marcello there.

- Hawaiana Pizza -

It's Hawaiian Pizza with Onions, Pineapples, Beef bacon, tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

- Beef Lasagna -

The mouth watering creamy sauce and minced beef.

- Vegetariana Pizza -

I personally love this one with all the vegetables in it and even meatball love it!

- The satisfying dinner of ours -

My parents' friends from West Malaysia who traveled many parts of the world love the dishes served there.

And as for the price stated in the menu, it was reasonable and worth for every cents we paid.

- Tiramisu Cake -

A slice of Tiramisu Cake was heavenly. It was moist and have a wonderful flavour. It's a must try and make me felt in love.

 - Fantasia di Maria -

 It's actually a Chocolate Pudding which served hot (freshly baked from the oven and I saw them baking it at the kitchen!) and be careful of the hot bowl of chocolate! Meatball keeps on emphasizing how it feels like when she had her hot chocolate pudding before we went there. It's better to share among few of us for the first time, or else we will felt uncomfortable with the 100% chocolate in it.

And my final thought is Dessert is a must try when we are going to Grazie for dinner or even lunch.

 A place to chill with glasses of wine through the night, anyone?

Healthy Shabu Shabu at Suria Sabah, K. K., Sabah

Had my first Shabu Shabu at Natural Kitchen located at Ground Floor, Suria Sabah few weeks ago with meatball and her friend.

Want to be healthy? Eat more vegetables and less oily food. ;)

I love their plum drink, it's refreshing!

I had healthy mushroom sets with price that cost within RM15 or RM18 exclude the plum drink I had.

And that's a lot of mushrooms~~ Good for digestion you know or not? However, over consuming might not be a wise choice. Everything have their limit, even a person's temper. Besides, do you saw the bowl with noodles? Each sets come with it, but the noodle was tasteless and the texture was hard, not good to eat!!! So, next time I will ignore the noodles when I go there!

I had herbal soup as soup base for the Shabu Shabu, but the soup wasn't that herbal-ised flavour before we add in those ingredients.

Slurp Slurp****

The longer we cook the soup together with those ingredients, the more it taste SWEET!!! Nyum!
