La Fuente (Authentic Spanish Tapas Bar), One Borneo Hypermall, K. K., Sabah.

La Fuenta is the first Spanish Restaurant which located at 1 Borneo, K. K.

Still remembered that it was almost 10.00pm and few of us went for a drink over there.

At the first sight, the surrounding of the restaurant was relaxing and a corner of the restaurant is occupied for band. However, no band was officially performed there, but they hired some part timer for entertainment.

- Coffee Macchiato -

A cup of coffee for the night. Flavour was okay. Meatball had Latte for the night, however it taste too milky and not that nice to drink.

Yea~

One or two song for the night. I think they sang one local song for us and the tourist we were having coffee with and another Old English song. I recorded a short video that I will show you later!

A short music video by a group of entertainers - "Love you more than I can say" which sing upon request and they will sing a song or two from one table to another.

Overall, the surrounding with Liquor/ Alcohol and Spanish Cuisine was good. Place to chill during the night, not noisy indeed.

Dome - World's Finest Coffees, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Dome can be found at many places in the world and it was a brand franchised to K.K. since the day when 1 Borneo was here.


Before we had our shopping, few of us went into Dome which located at 1 Borneo for our brunch. The food was great and it's better then I thought.

Besides, the price is so reasonable with a bowl of pasta and a cup of soft drink (optional). [Seek for their lunch menus!!]


As usual, I love fries!

Their ice blended is fine and not as cold/ iced like coffee bean, Damai does. I had Cherry-licious while my mom had one of Dome's famous drink.


Well~~ Trying all the restaurants in town is one of my to do list! =D
No wonder it is difficult to lost weight.

Stay at home today, watching movies and reading some documents etc...most of all surfing through the net and listen to nice music~~~ That's my life.

Is been a windy day since this morning, people was feeling a bit cold. I'm going to post entries about foods that I had, on one fine night with some of my family members and an aunt of mine.

Penang Village - It was a franchise restaurant located at One Borneo, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Just like usual, pictures says its all.

DURIAN CENDOL - I love these. sweet & tempting.

PANDAN CHICKEN. Which was a famous dish in Malaysian Food (My Opinion). Nice flavour of chicken.

The left dish was fried vegetables with normal prawn with vegetables. The fried vegetable nice to eat, but a nit too salty.

The right was Fish with pumpkin. Fish was okay, but the pumpkin wasn't cook enough. Felt a bit hard when eating it for a try at first.

Fried rice with chicken & bull's eye. The taste was not bad, according to the person who ate those.




Air Sirap Bandung. I don't remember whether the name was correct, but the something to do with "Bandung".

The red/pink syrup with "lime" was great. I like the taste very much, sweet with a bit of sour that make us feels like eating (appetite).

Overall, the food was alright, the price was depending on type of foods that we ordered with a reasonable price.

New York New York at 1 Borneo, K. K., Sabah

Just came back home after having a lousy movie night out with my bf & his friends... Don't watch Dairy of the Death...It's horribly lousy and makes me felt sleepy.

Me, my elder sister & one of our friends went to 1 Borneo for shopping. We had our lunch cum high tea at NYNY. I suppose NYNY was a franchise maybe... Well... people was crowded all over the restaurant, and even in every corner that we can see outlets & any other restaurants that they haven't tried before.

We didn't order the huge burger which they're famous for, and we just ordered those below:

Beef Burger. Hmm... The taste was so so... The meet was 80% cook and its smells too much beef... which makes some of us felt.... errrr.....not going to order for the next time.

I think it was Latte... or Chocolate... My sister said that the drink was so so too. Nothing special.

I had Strawberry XXX (forget what it was called, I only remember it had Strawberry in it.

Our friend ordered sort of like Sandwich with Bacon in it. She said the food was nice & had a big portion.

However, I still prefer Fish & Co. Nicer with fish & chips.=)

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe - 1 Borneo

I'm a fat fat girl in a big big world... Exercise needed!!!

Been to 1 Borneo for the first time after I'm back from UK... It was Saturday and my older sister & her friends bring me out for dinner & movies, unfortunately the car tyre was damaged because of the nail outside my under renovation house. So, we just have our dinner & heading straight back home after that.

We tried our dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe which the food served was Hong Kong styled.

The menu was attractive that all the food was eye catchy but in actual the food's taste was so-so only.

Drinks - Peach Tea, Lychee Tea, Honey Lemon & Lime I think.

Mun Fan. I don't know how to describe this but it taste was... weird.. not recommending it for people. The rice was too dry & it was like soup with rice & eggs etc..

Spaghetti with Pork Chop. My sister ordered this, she says that it taste better.

Cheesy Rice with Pork Chop. The taste was okay... and it would be better if the rice was fried and not too dry.

My sister's friend was over estimated about the dish below. It was similar to the instant noodle that we can have at home by adding bull eyes (egg) and two slices of ham. hahaha~~

This one better.... Fried chicken, there was a name for it but I forget what it called.

Mango Snow Ice - Thought that these dessert was great.. but actually not... The appearances and the name was attractive... The whole dessert was too icy and the mango was too little and it was not sweet enough... besides the dessert was mixed with Jelly too and some sauce for the colouring... For us, it was lousy.

Overall, the environment was okay, but the food...*sigh*.... okay lar...

Another six more months = 8 years of relationship....muahahaha!!!

Been to 1 Borneo after the opening of Sushi King - a Japanese Restaurant around town at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
