Coffee Club, Singapore

Remembered that me and my elder sister (meatballonline) were walking distances just to find the Ben & Jerry Outlet around Orchard Road for a cup of saliva drooling ice cream, and yet, we can't find the outlet that we saw when we were in the bus each morning.

*sigh*

However, we went to Takasyimaya for our afternoon tea session. Totally getting numb after the walk around the area over and over again. In short, we almost lost our direction in Singapore. It's sound funny, right?

We had our afternoon tea at Coffee Club, above the main entrance of the shopping mall and crowded with shoppers, tourists, corporate people and others. If I'm not mistaken, coffee club is quite popular in Singapore.

Found their official website : click click

I had Toffee Coffee Blended and can't recall my sister's drink.

The price is quite reasonable and the menus they served is more westernized.

My sister who's been on frequent trips to Singapore for the tour company, came to a decision to apply for Coffee Club Privilege Club. Woohoooo~~ Guess, she will be there again on this week's trip.

ATTRACTIVE!

A great place to chill and to fill. Come~~ we go there for another relaxing shopping moments!

Popeyes the Sailor Man, Singapore

Popeyes the Sailor Man. Tutt tutt!!

Suddenly I remembered that I forgot to post Popeyes from my Singapore Trip!

My elder sister introduced the restaurant before in her blog, she love it very much and it only be found in Singapore's International Airport. It serves similar food like KFC but tastier and provide varieties food for us to choose from Burger to drumsticks!

Do you remember the Popeyes cartoon which we've watched when we are still little kids running around? Yea~~ The Sailor who eat Spinach to get all his energy to help others. The restaurant do show the cartoon continuously for guests to enjoy while having our meals.

Something quite special about the bread/ cake. It's like a combination between both. A bit crunchy from the outside and soft texture from the inside. Wonder how they did it... Hmm~~

Guess what? Some of the people even drive all the way to the airport just to have their Popeyes' meal.

It's taste good for real and must have it before our departure!

Ritz Apple Strudel from Bugis, Singapore

I'm missing it badly... And the main thing is ----

me & meatball are happy that our Ritz Apple Strudel's delivery is reaching soon on this coming August. *wink*

One of the best Apple Strudel (The quality of the Strudel I blogged previously was unsatisfied lately, it makes me so disappointed when I went there for a drink) we found during our Singapore's trip. Her friend brought us to Bugis, opposite Toast Box and Bugis junction to buy the delicious Strudel and we bought it to treat our cousin who lend his for for few nights!

Now you see....

Walla!!!!

Level by level of pastry, apple cubes and custard!

The moment my cousin sliced it, wow~~ We could hear "CRUNCH" at that moment and when we bite it.... Real crunchy and yummy!!

Yippi!!

August is nearly here!!! ^_^

Bits & pieces in Singapore

Had a ordinary breakfast with my sister before starting our work in Suntec Convention Hall. =)

A friend of mine bring me for a walk at Orchard Road before we're going to Vivo City for meeting up another friend of mine.

Took this picture at ION Orchard. The shopping mall was full of branded goods, which bites our money. However, if you earning the local money, it should be okay!!!

The old man in red could spin the heavy beads on his waist. There was a newspaper cuts presented which it introduced about the old man.

The best chicken chop I had for the first time in my life till now!! It was crunchy and no oily feeling when we ate the chicken slices. Huixin ordered the add on chili for us & it was Scrumptious!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had those at Suntec City - the environment for me was food court look-a-like.
Want to have some more on my future trips to SGP.

Hmm~~~ Those foods that Huixin introduced me & my sister was superb!!!
The squid balls ---- Delicious. The yogurt ice cream -- Tempting!!

We are heading to the Japanese Restaurant and I passed Raffles Hotel which is the oldest hotel in Sgp. I saw Tiffany & Co., LV etc~~~~ Branded again!!

I'm sharing bits & pieces of places I went and snacks we had in few days!
There are more foods coming soon in the coming entries.

Pasta Mania at Vivo City, Singapore

In the end, the whole Singapore trip was packed with food food food!! and not much of visiting places such as Sentosa, Night Safari, Universal Studio etc...

Thanks to Huixin and her hubby for treating me dinner for two days!! I'm grateful and thanks to both of you!

Went to Pasta Mania for dinner on the second day I reached Singapore. Another friend of mine bring me for shopping and accompanying me from Suntec City to Orchard Road, and from Orchard to Vivocity just to meet them. Thank you Alex Teo!

I LOVE ITALIAN CUISINE!!

I had creamy chicken spaghetti for that night.

Garlic bread that could fill up our tummy in short period of time.

Mussel & clams spaghetti for the couple.

The pasta was GOOD. However, they told me that normally it wasn't that watery/ creamy.

The banana pizza was quite special, and it taste WOW~~~ I like it!! But I'm too fulll... to have another pieces.

The portion was enough for Asian like me though.

And the good news is we don't have to travel from places to places in Singapore to dine in. We either drop in at any shopping malls in Singapore or order for delivery and send to your doorstep in Singapore.

=)
Gee~~~ I want more in my second trip, and I want to eat my elder sister. Universal Studio if you know what I meant. *grin smile*

Ah Chew Desserts, Singapore

Aw~~~ Me and my sister are missing the desserts at Singapore. It should be the first time since the last time that i could finish a big bowl of dessert by myself. **eye blinking**

At last, my sister and I went for a walk around Singapore after the travel and food fair was ended. On Monday, my sister's friend dated us at Bugis area for dinner and dessert.

TWO THUMBS UP for the dessert there. It was packed with people for the whole night. Their price was reasonable and the flavour of the dessert was SUPERB!!

It was my unforgettable moments there with the dessert that totally melt me away~~

I had mango sago (芒果西米露)- The yellowish in colour (picture above) and the mango's cube was sweet.

My elder sister had the dessert below. And it was the most recommended one there. Manggo cubes with pamelo cubes and honey dew cubes if I didn't mixed up (my sister will update if I'm wrong, do check my comment box if any).

I can't wait to have my second & continuous trips to Singapore! AND I want to go to Ah Chew Desserts again~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, meatball online!!!!! I want to go Universal Studio!!!!!!!!!!! and Ah Chew Dessert at Singapore!!

Away from the Rain at Hong Kong Tea House, Singapore

We went to Old Hong Kong Tea House at Katong for a drink before heading to Suntec Convention Hall for the food and travel fair exhibition which was the main purpose of my elder sister going to Singapore.

The tea house is fill with portraits of Hong Kong's singer from 60's, 70's or maybe 80's. I felt that it was quite warm inside when we sit there.

The menus they serve was quite extraordinary where the name was special too!!

The price was a bit expensive if we convert to our MYR. However, the price was okay for those who work in Singapore and earn SGP Dollar.

The bread was well- recommended by our friend. The texture was soft and the filling covered the bread was Yummy!! and with the cold butter, the bread is SUPERB!!

The drink --- 西洋菜蜜。(A type of vegetable with honey). It was sweet with honey and tasty too! The vegetable could cold down our body heat.

Fried Chu Cheong Fun. Wow~~ It was yummy. Quite special where it was my first trial for that dish.

Non the least, we could order varieties of rice, noodles, breads and others that we would like to fill up our tummy. * wink* ;)

As we seen, It was 24 hours operated.

p/s: I would like to go Singapore for more!!
