Hong Kong : Mong Kok, Kowloon - Super Star Seafood Restaurant & The Night Walk 【

(Kowloon)

Finally ended our Hainan, China Trip and we were back in Hong Kong, its like landing at heaven that night! We were HUNGRY and weren't satisfied nor full with the meals we had for past few days.

On the same night we reached Hong Kong, left our luggage at the hotel and we headed to the Mong Kok for dinner, a very scrumptious one and we had our dinner really quick! haha :D Definitely like "hungry ghost" 饿鬼 that night. Delicious signature Peking duck for the night. :)

Uncle Tai treat us that night. :) And the dinner was great! Packed restaurant and the local will know where to bring us for good dinner.

Dinner was great and NEXT, walked to Tong Pak Fu for another dessert time which I prefer the first visit at Hak Po branch. After dessert, we walk and walk around Mong Kok and see the night with my eye, here are some of the random photography I took in Mong Kok. :)

Hong Kong - Mong Kok, Kowloon - Tong Pak Fu Desserts【

(Kowloon)

We often heard about 杨枝甘露 "Yong Ji Gam Lo" is a very tempting dessert and is a must try in Hong Kong. Fortunately, our HK trip was fruitful and amazing with saliva drooling local delicacies that our relatives brought us along to those recommended restaurants/ cafe.

And now, continue with our story of Mong Kok's entry... After a long walk from one place to Flagship (Hak Po Street), finally we arrived at the main outlet of 糖百府 (Tong Pak Fu) which located at Flagship.

(Tong Pak Fu) (TPF) -

We arrived during off peak hour and finally chairs for us to sit! :D

FYI, I did some research in the internet and found out that it is related to Tong Pak Fu in West Malaysia. Guess, it's another chained franchise store that reached outside their city. (Yea, I remember about the chaos that happened sometime around last year with)

- Adverts at the front door -

Settled down and ordered whatever we want to try! All of them just look so GOOD.

Heavy coffee flavour that caught our attention and my goodness, it was such a huge bowl of icey dessert for all of us.

Red Bean with Jelly and Sago.

The original milk flavour.

Yong Ji Gam Lo" @ HKD 28 -

Mango and Pamelo Sweet Soup with Sago. Finally YJGL, it was so good, sweet and smells refreshing. :)

- The weather VS Snow Ice -

Surprisingly the ice did not melt fast, in fact the weather was perfectly cold and we had quite a long talk while enjoying our desserts.

- Signature of 糖百府 (Tong Pak Fu) -

- Menu -

Thumbs up for TPF of Flagship (Hak Po Street)!

And so we proceeded to the next station.

- Random Photo -

A scene that caught my attention, the red signboard that represent prosperity to the newly open outlet! I did ask my mom whether K.K. have such before and she said yes. The red huge signboards were once applied during the old days when the Chinese came to Sabah, but when time goes by, this tradition had slowly faded away. Oh well...

See you in next entry la! ;)

Hong Kong : Mong Kok, Kowloon - Ladies' Market, Smelly Taufu & more!

(Kowloon)

It was a bliss that we took a short vacation to Indonesia last week and do read up what I had over there (click) and do catch up with any updates at my Facebook page as well, before reading further about my China's journey. :)

So now, continue from previous dinner at The Grandhall. On the next day, we went to Mong Kok for a local visit.

 - Where are we heading?? -

Tung Choi Street (Ladies' Market)] -

The first place we visited was Ladies' Market, varieties of goods can be found over there from technology to small souvenirs. (website)

Furthermore, we went to Langham Place (LP) which located not far from Ladies' Market (LM), LP is similar to LM which selling cheap/ reasonable pricing quality goods (and even better), I'm not sure how many of you actually updated with my China photographs, the red jacket I wore was from LP with HKD250. :) I normally shop for quality ones. ;)

- Brunch at New Macau Restaurant (新澳门) -

So, brunch before we start our shopping at MK. Food served at New Macau Restaurant were okay, I like the milky tea they are serving and will write about it in near future.

And do enjoy what I saw in Ladies' Market below!

- Fridge Magnets -

- Traditional Shoes -

- This is Ladies' Market (女人街) -

We heard about how rude were sellers at Ladies' Market would react to people like us, however, I didn't really felt the same way as what I heard and sellers we met were still okay although not all of them are friendly, and I guess most of them doesn't really like tourists from China, they are such RUDE!!!

Aunt Rosa and Brother Francis would like to bring us to Tong Pak Fu (糖百府)in MK and we walked from street to street. HK people walk uncountable foot steps. OMG! And of course, the more I walk, I won't gain so much from this trip. :D *happy thought*

So, we spotted smelly toufu while we were walking, Aunt Rosa lovesssss Smelly Toufu! Haha :D

- Smelly Toufu (臭豆腐) -

For the first time in my life, I tried Smelly Toufu from Hong Kong. It taste fine, seriously, it's FINE! I like it and it doesn't smell awful when eating it. At least it doesn't smell bad from few streets away like the one I smell at Taichung, Taiwan. So from now on, HK smelly toufu is okay for me!

- See that happy face with smelly toufu? -

Taste good with chilli sauce, a hint of spicy won't make us felt disgusting.

- I spotted "Meizu" that friends and strangers always read my name this way -

- Crowds in MK -

Frankly speaking, I love Kowloon more. :) It's just beautiful mixed with both authentic HK and trendy HK.

- -___- Mobile Ice Cream Seller -

I didn't have the time to taste it as we walked so fast to catch up with the others. Oh well...

I gonna stop here with Ladies' Market and all the above, and continue at HK Part 9! :)
