It's Friday! At T.G.I. FRIDAY'S! @ Kuala Lumpur

It's FRIDAY peeps!

Went to KL and had Friday's the other day. It reminds me that a couple of years ago, I celebrated NEW YEAR at FRIDAY'S and few of us just enjoyed ourselves! Friday's staffs and guests sing along the Christmas songs as well!

- T.G.I. FRIDAY'S -

- The Interior -

Few of us had our first dinner at Friday's before we went to Absolute Thai, such a heavy meal that day.

We were at The Gardens, Mid Valley to be exact. I like the food and the environment there and non the less, sound even better with SHOPPING after dinner!

So, these were the meals we had! Western cuisine for the night. Grilled ones.

- The Grilled Meals -

All of us just can't run away from chicken, beef and lamb. I heard that the beef was good at Friday's and they offer promotions when Friday here! So, if anyone of us are in KL, just pay them a visit! :)

- Grilled Lamb -

Simple meal for me. :)

- The Gardens, Mid Valley -

It's SHOPPING  time after our meal!

Spotted in many malls in KL.

That French Restaurant by Le Safran, The Peak Vista @ KKCity

It was my first time to dine in at Le Safran which moved from Suria Sabah to The Peak Vista, Likas.

My office had held our Annual Dinner at the venue months ago, and here we are with some of the photos that I took during our dinner that night. :)

- Appetizer -

Either soup or salad that we can choose according to their set menu which my office got from them before that night.

The main dish which we can choose were Lamb, Beef and chicken (I can't remember there's fish in the menu or not), just like any other restaurant.

- The Interior design -

Dim light and cozy place for small chat.

- Main Course -

Dolled up for annual dinner (#asos)!

- Dessert -

Overall, there's space for Le Safran to improve just like what I have commented before (for their previous outlet at Suria Sabah). It was a bit disappointing that we had an average taste of the steak prepared by Le Safran.

The pancake was quite tasteless which if it could be served warm and thin pancake top up with the ice cream, the dessert would taste much better.

Sorry to say that, Le Safran won't be my top list to dine in in the future, and exceptional for invitation from friends!

Cheers! Have a great day ahead!

【印尼游玩记】 万隆 : 火山 Fun in Indonesia : Puncak/ Bandung - Tangkuban Perahu Mountain

Indonesia Part 3 - Sumber Wangi, Puncak and Tangkuban Perahu Mountain, West Java, Bandung

Awake from our beauty sleep and had our breakfast, waited for tour bus to arrive and off we go to the next destination! BANDUNG!

During our journey from Puncak to Bandung, we stop over for a short break at Sumber Wangi, whereby it is an outlet selling sweets and local delicacies. A short explanation that indonesian taste buds are more to sweet and savory food.

- Handmade Goodies -

Very cute frogy keychain and I didn't buy them. :(
You know what? The spirit of earning money by "chasing" us to purchase their goodies which selling outside Sumber Wangi's outlet just amused me. Yea... I did bought two bracelet from them! So pretty and colourful. I love colourful accessories. :)

- Local Delicacies -

Of what I have bought - Peanuts and crackers.

- Sumber Wangi -

- Fried Tofo -

I would love to try some and despite of their hygiene, I was a bit afraid to taste a bite. *Yaiks*

- Welcome to BANDUNG! -

Finally we were there!

- Lunch -

We had Chinese Indonesian Food by Masakan Ikan Restaurant, operated by Chinese Indonesia and quite tasty too! I do impressed with the tour package we subscribed during that CNY 2013.

- Heading to the next destination -

I truly love the view like above, feeling calm and green. Just love it so much.

- Tangkuban Perahu Mountain -

It was only a small part of the mountain, first we will be transferred from the lower part of the mountain to the highest place to see the amazing mountain view.

- The sleeping Valcono -

They said that Tangkuban Perahu Mountain is well known with Sangkuriang and Dayang Sumbi Legend.

Well, there's always a lagend about mountain, just like our beautiful Mount Kinabalu here in Sabah. :)

- Gotcha Selfie! -

- Souvenirs for remembrance -

Somehow Indonesian are friendly people, they won't really shout at you if you don't want to buy from them. haha :D

- Hand Crafted -

- Gunung (Mountain) Tangkuban Perahu -

"Tangkuban Parahu or Tangkuban Perahu is one of the mountain located in the province of West Java, Indonesia. Approximately 20 km to the north of the city of Bandung, with a lush pine trees and expanses of tea gardens in the vicinity." (source)

With Mr. Hon, a very down to earth man as our tourist guide (Indonesian Chinese) and I still remember he sang for us a few love songs (although he can't understand the meaning in that Chinese love songs) on the day we left Indonesia.

- Love this Shot by my sister -

This is yours truly and till next Indonesia post!

Updates : Pretty Lil Things

The weekends were great for the past few weeks. :)

So, most of us heard about the news that our beautiful Tanjung Aru public area will be privatized soon, maybe this will be the last time we could feel this breezy beach along with juices and fruits chilling with friends FREELY!

Visited Tanjung Aru beach last Saturday and had a walk, short chat and short photography session.

Lovely blue wedding theme that we have attended last Saturday. ;)

Learned the correct way of making Tang Yuan 汤圆,black sesame glutinous balls! Apple and Pandan sweet soup we had!

For the first time I had steamboat from 小桃苑, City Mall. Gosh, Mr. A and I had one of the most expensive steamboat, total RM78.00 for two pax, we had Mixed Pork, Pork Balls, huge portion of Mixed vegetables and double soup mix (chicken soup and chicken porridge). They said the concept is the same as Taiwanese style hot pot! Maybe a few more person sharing hot spot would be much cheaper then!

Harvest festival celebration is great during May. It was my first time visit to KDCA for their yearly celebration this year.

Amazing celebration of our natives tribes here in Sabah! All the monginum and Aramaitii (local language) will be there, I saw Old people were drunk and dancing as well. :D

That's all for today! Have a great day!

By the way, get my latest updates via Facebook!

Happened to be at Party Play Lifestyle Cafe, Gaya Street, K.K.

It was a rainy last weekend, a heavy one in fact.

It was quite troublesome to find a place to chill during such weather, luckily the rain drizzled when the night getting late.

We happened to be at nearby and in the end, we decided to visit Party Play Lifestyle Cafe. It's been a while since the last one at Lintas and it was my first to be at their Gaya Street outlet. *I'm outdated*

- Earl Grey and Sesame Snaps -

It was nice to have a cup of hot tea with the sesame snaps by Party Play. I do love the sesame snap by them. :) Creamy cream with fruits topping and sweet sesame snaps!

It was almost 10.00pm when we arrived that night, we had a chance to listen to good accoustic music that weekend.

- Life Music-

I do admire cafes with good music and especially with the love one and finally, the perfect location of Gaya Street. :)

Aw... way to lovely to have a chat with love at Party Play, Gaya Street. :) Maybe a glass of wine too!

Till then!

The World Longest Island to Island Zipline by Coral Flyer @ Sapi Island, #Sabah #Borneo

I did not regret that I took the opportunity to the island with all my favourite bloggers and non the less, meeting new friends during that weekend!

And so we went for an island trip!

- Our Ticket -

The main highlights will be on THE WORLD'S LONGEST ISLAND TO ISLAND ZIPLINE! You heard me! The World LONGEST ISLAND TO ISLAND ZIPLINE! Only in Malaysia NOW!

- Island to Island Zipline by Coral Flyer -

The ticket cost RM50.00 per person and inclusive of the transfer from Sapi Island to Gaya Island and the zipline adventure (a.k.a Flying Fox). The said ticket can be purchased at both of Sapi Island's and Padang Point's reception desk as well.

By the way, in case you were asking, the cost of our boat transport from Kota Kinabalu City (Jesselton Port) cost us more or less RM25.00 per person and entrance tickets to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is RM3.00 per person.

- Sapi Island -

How beautiful would be if we go for the zipline around this piece of gem of Sabah? You can't imagine how I love Sapi Island after the first trip of mine.

If you could notice, there's a few orange rounded items hanged across both of the island (not on the sea surface), there will be the zipline activities take part!

- Our Photography session -

We brought Kendy to the island and before we went for the zipline activity, we had a fun photography session, it's been a while since the last bloggers gathering and in such a large group as well! Non the less, some of us even went for a swim before the zipline activity!

- Padang Point, Gaya Island -

Coral Flyer transferred us from Sapi Island to Gaya Island, there's seven (7) of us on the second group during the zipline session. Two person at one time during the take off.

A short walk from Padang Point Jetty to the harness and helmet station of Coral Flyer Zipline.

- The Harness and Helmets -

Roy and another Coral Flyer staff assisted us with the harness and helmet per-caution, it was getting excited when we were prepared!

It took us a while from the entrance of zipline to the platform of Coral Flyer Zipline which is located at higher point of Gaya Island (45 meters/ 148 feet above ground) and handed us a zipline trolley to bring up to the platform as well! A short jungle hiking could discharge us from those negative energy. Breath in!

- The Ending Point -

From Gaya Island, we will see the ending point at Sapi Island, just like the above (the orange station).

- Harness Station -

Have fun while others were getting prepared. Oh... That's just us.

- The Platform -

Finally reached the platform and my leg started shaking, nervous for god sake. OMG!

I felt like I'm falling when the staff made the final check on the harness and helmet we were wearing. Very professional safety per-caution that Coral Flyer did, well done!

- Ready for Take Off -

- WE WERE FLYING!! -

READY??? READY??? Omg! Off we go! Oh Weeee~~~ Definitely one of the best experience that everyone must try, it's very safety and WE should do it!

The scenery along the zipline ride was great, going slow motion made us realise that Sabah really have all the gems here, we should protect them. :)

- One of the Pose (Photo credits to Borneo Frog) -

We were requested to do poses to show how we were excited and the fantastic experience we had! One of the best experience I had above sea level and at the island!

I did a short video for the island trip, scroll down and enjoy it before leaving meitzeu.com! I heard those screaming and it was totally funny with all the conversation we had.

- My sight at the ending point, Sapi Island -

It's only a small portion of the island, can you see how prefect is the sea water? Both of the tourists beside enjoyed themselves as well.

Out of curiosity, here are some of the information regarding Coral Flyer Island to Island Zipline :-
1.  It can support up to 120kgs and minimum are 40kgs (inclusive of children). If the child is too small, professional staff will be bringing the child on a tandem rig during the activity.
2. High-tech ZipStop braking system from the USA it has two lines allowing riders to go down in pairs. It is the stopper at the end point, I felt as if my heart was throwing out that day, quite worried but it's totally FUN and safety.
3. 235 meters zipline (From Gaya Island to Sapi Island). It tooks me more or less 25 amazing seconds to reach the end at approximately 55KM/J! (Speed could up to 65KM/J).
4.  Safety guideline. Coral Flyer take priority on our safety with guidelines set by Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). The zipline was built to the highest international standards and operated by qualified professionals.
5. A new activity at the island. Start operating on May, 2014 and official launching on 6th June, 2014.

A short photography with the professional staffs, bloggers and friends, and off we walk down to the beach to meet up with others. Some of them, continued with the swimming again!
