Botanical Beauty Box from Yves Rocher France!

A review on Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty...

Flashed back myself sometime during my secondary studies, I did purchased facial products by Yves Rocher France before, well its been a while and last month, I received a box of Yves Rocher goodies with their latest hydra vegetal product  :)

All of the products did not have any negative reaction on my skin. Overall, I like the products by Yves Rocher, thank you YR Malaysia and also Beverly! My awesome girl!

Keep it short and simple, YR is all about botanical beauty, plants to be exact. I always love the fragrant of flowers.

- Yellow Peach Silky Lotion (50ml) @ RM10.00  and Sexy Pulp Volume Lip Gloss (10ml) @ RM55.00 - 

The aqua based Yellow Peach Silky Lotion is easily applied and the best part is it doesn't feel sticky at all! The smell of peach just remain for a period of time. Love how it smell, imagined myself like a peach. (lol) In addition, I bought myself a bottle of their shower gel (40ml @ RM26.00) (love to use various brands of shower gel and even my mom can't stand it), the price just reasonable and it smells great as well!

- Sexy Pulp Volume Lip Gloss -

As for Sexy Pulp Lip Gloss, it smells like caramel to me on my first trial. It is also known for its volumizing lip effect with their collagen extract. I love the natural colour of the lip gloss applied which I'm happy even dressed casually without any make up on except for my lip! *kiss*

- Rose Fraiche eau de toilette -

I always love the smell of roses. :) The smell doesn't made me chock but it does refresh my mind. One pump made a different.

- Hydra Vegetal 24H Intense Hydrating Gel Cream (15ml) and Cure Solutions Anti-Aggressions Flash Mask (15ml) @ RM35.00  -

The Hydra Vegetal 24H Intense Hydrating Gel Cream give us a feel of hydrated skin, aqua based texture that allow the gel easily absorb by our skin, it does smells like cucumber somehow. In fact, skin that is hydrated will made us look younger as well! 

The Cure Solutions Anti-Aggressions Flash Mask is not a peel off mask, leave it 5 minutes on our face and taa daaa, radiant skin can be seen in minutes! ;)

Randomly went to Tuaran Crocodile Farm with meatball-online and mama months ago.

Being one of the largest crocodile farm in Sabah and its been around since February 2005! Interesting place to visit around Sabah and a place to get close with crocodiles. :D

FYI, its real crocodile placed for visitors to get close with the crocodiles.

Beside the above, Tuaran Crocodile Farm do offer souvenirs, real crocodile skin handbags from the smallest pouch to look-alike Hermes handbag. If I'm not mistaken, they do have deers and other animals as well. The place is well maintained and there's no unacceptable smells although the place is a farm for various creatures. Good job to them!

CLOSED - Its a BOMB! Bomber's Burger @ Gaya Street, K.K.

Have been heard Bomber's Burger for quite sometime and finally a few weeks ago, three of us (meatball-online, mum and me) went to Bomber's Burger for dinner. :) Luckily we were early to get our seats!

Its a classic American burger store concept attracts people to try out this burger restaurant, located at our oldest street in Kota Kinabalu, Gaya Street.

So, three of us had these!

This is satisfying and just reminds me of my childhood!

I had Route 66 @ RM14.00, medium beef. Beef patty was a bit dry, and overall still okay. Well, the portion is filling and I can't finish my burger.

Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +

So... sometime beginning of the month or last month, I entered contest by Clinique on the new product that they going to launch.

Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. 

And it happens that I am one of the fifty lucky winners who won the six week supply, 50ml of the said product. I'm a happy Clinique user. 

I have changed my previous set of facial products to Clinique, therefore the new product they will be launching caught my eye and wanted to try it as well. From face make up to sensitive skin care are available. Loving the silky texture and mild effect of them, and ofcourse depends on skin type as well.

 

Back to the new product, the moisturising texture and water based product allow us to easily apply on our skin. :) It does not gave me the feel of tightening my skin that some products might give.

As for the smell, just like their motto, 

" Allergy Tested. 100% Fragrance Free"

 

Definitely pure smell of no fragrance, at least the smell is acceptable. Overall, I have been using day and night for the past three days, there's no allergy effect that appears on my partially sensitive skin.

Reviewing Early Half of 2013...

This post will be way more personal... to remark those I have learned and those beautiful memories since the beginning of Year 2013.

Time flies with glimpse of eyes. Laughter and sorrow just passes by. And hey.... how about all of you, dearest?

And here goes the reviews of my 2013.

 

- 1) Bloggers Outing -

I wasn't a frequent outdoor tagging person with bloggers around town previously (well, except for the four favourite girls of mine la!). And recently, it was my first time having outdoor activity with the familiar faces in town.

Well, I must say a person will change because of yada yada that faced by them. And oh my... my skin tone is darker than before, thanks to Beverly that tagged me along for island trips. And yea.. 2013 is like my year for island, sleep over at the island, snorkel for the first time as well! More to come!!

- 2) KK Jazz Festival 2013 -

It's been a while since the last visit to KK Jazz Festival held sometime in June. I wanted to go and finally I made it together with friends and meatball-online on a Saturday! However, it was a bit sad that it was disappointing as it could be better than previous one I went. Not to say that it was totally disappointing this year, just it was a bit boring.

 

- 3) Indonesia Trip -

Unexpected trip to Indonesia during Chinese New Year. Learning a bit of other culture and non the less, getting closer with my family, especially my parents. You never knew what I have been through during that period of time. So what that smile happily on the face? Its only surface anyway.

- 4) Overnight at Manukan Island -

It was an unusual overnight trip with my sisters which it cost more than RM1,000.00 per night for staying overnight. Thanks to Tropical Holidays Paradise for giving us the opportunity to enjoy the luxurious trip. Very relaxing and silent night we been through.

 

- 5) Packages from Yves Rocher -

It was my first time to receive this beauty package for review. Thanks to my #Saturdate, Beverly who got this for me!!!! :D Gonna do a full review on this! Love the sweet smell of flora on the lip gloss and fragrance.

- 6) Being a Responsible Malaysian -

It was my first time to vote on the recent General Election.

And here goes more in depth with my personal matters... a little bit of why I'm emotionally unstable for the past few months, somehow or rather, the feeling still comes back.

7) Bond of Family

Ended my relationship with my ex sometime beginning of the year, in a very horrible way. In the past, relationship just like everything for me, especially being together for almost 12 years.

So, cut the craps. Things may not go the way you wanted to be. Just remember that 

"Sometimes God does not give you what you want, it is not because you do not deserve it, but for the better."

 

No matter what happen, your family are the one who always there for you. I never knew my family and many of my friends were worry about me, friends even look for me as I've been silently staying away from them, wouldn't want to meet them and don't want them to look for me as well. I felt so sorry and regret because of my action. I thought I could handle the feelings and things that happened by myself, but in fact, it really shed so much.

8) Picking Up with Amazing Things

In the past, I missed so many things in life, all the fun of being young and free. Is time to catch up. Somehow, this phrase have its point as well:

"A good relationship will bring us to see the world, instead of seeing partner as the world"

The true and healthy relationship could bring improvement to our life, to see the world and to learn from each other. It is something that I have learned lately, life wasn't about seeing your partner as the world, trust plays a big part as well. Balancing between subjective matters in life is the main philosophy.

There's so many things I have understood after that incident, things that I used to shut myself before. Perhaps, this is the meitzeu that's all about. It just my life and I'm still in the progress of learning from it.

Sweet and Simple life sounds good to me.

We never know where simple life could bring us to. Once I have been on a roller coaster, it's time to slow down myself.
