【吉隆玻美食】Food In Kuala Lumpur : Just Two of Us @ Garden to Table Private Dining, Petaling Jaya

And it was a great lunch we had during our trip two weeks ago!

Yinsbear dated me weeks before I'm in KL. :) She work at part timer on a Saturday and frankly speaking, I do love the concept of private dining.

We took the LRT from KLCC to Taman Paramount's station and Yinsbear fetch us from there.

- Nasi Lemak Set and Scones Set -

Inclusive of the coffee. :) Coffee beans specially brought from different places (somehow countries), organic and unique ingredients that make Garden to Table Private Dining extraordinary from others.

- Buttermilk Scones -

I REALLY LOVE THEIR SCONES!

Smells buttery and milky, a bit crunchy on the outside and soft inside. :)

- Interior -

It is a bungalow which we went for the private dining.

Vintage table setting and without even noticed, time just passes quickly. The longer we stay, the more we felt comfortable with the place while chatting with friends and family.

- Of What We Had -

- Beverly and I -

- Nasi Lemak -

- Sourdough Bread -

The three bottles of jam of passion fruit lemon curd, marmalade and mulberries jam were home made by the chef!

Personally, it is not often we could see people serving home made jams. Aw~ I love it!

 - Coffee -

- Spread the Scones -

You know what? I love to "HAVE A CUPPA TEA/COFFEE" session, just the same old meitzeu. (Haha)

I took my sweet time while having the scones and coffee.

- Me and Yinsbear -

Thanks to her for introducing us to try something different than we used to have.
And I went for garden tour and snap some photos too!

- Passion Fruits -

- Herbs and Plants -

- Basil and Herbs -

It was a good dining experience we had on that afternoon. And YYY! I want some more scones!!

Cheers! Till then!

Lovely Vintage Dine by Fat Spoon Cafe @ Petaling Jaya

Remember sometime during August, Yinsbear and Mr. G brought me to a cozy vintage cafe located in PJ for a lunch date on my second day in KL.

Beautiful vintage cafe and Yinsbear even tagged me in facebook to introduce this cafe to me! A lovely yet interesting concept cafe. :) A small gathering or a closed event would be so nice if it was held there.

- The Entrance to Fat Spoon Cafe -

- Good Reads -

Its a MENU!! :D Story books been used as menu, Fat Spoon Cafe had there menu inside the story books.

- Beverages -

I had sweet ice blended lychee mint (in white with green leaves). I like the drink but it was a bit sweet, advisable not to consume by anti sugar person.

- Rice -

Yinsbear had the rice above (I've forgotten the name). She loves to eat and I love all the food hunt she brought me to! And btw, she love to feed her friends. :D

- Salmon Sandwich -

Surprisingly, sandwich should be bread and salmon. Instead of using normal bread, they used burger bun! The chunky apple made the Salmon Sandwich just heavenly. I totally love it!!! If I'm not mistaken, their fritters were made of pumpkin (I love pumpkin!) and not normal potatoes. I simply love how they prepare the dish.

- One corner at Fat Spoon Cafe -

Lovely couple sitting outside. Beneath the glass of the table we had our lunch was covered with animated newspapers print. How cute!

- Menu at Board -

- At another corner -

Designed the corner with vintage kitchen tools.

- Jackfruit Popiah -

Simply love the fried popiah with hint of ice cream! Nom Nom! :)

I love the cafe and I think you will love it too! Cheers~

Dim Sum by Jing Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum (精选香港特级点心), Damansara Utama, PJ

I still remember that it was after my associateship graduation in K.L. back then.

A friend of my sister came and fetch and brought us to Jing Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum, Damansara Utama Branch for breakfast! I guess pretty much of most of us love Dim Sum. :)

I love the varieties that I could find there and which a number of it I have yet to see.

Here are what we could expect from Jing Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum.

- Pan/ Deep Fried and Baked -

- Jing Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum (精选香港特级点心) -

- Taro Ball -

- Steamed Dim Sum -

- 流沙包 -

Not every Dim Sum restaurant could prepare a nice and runny custard bun.

I like this bun when it was hot and feels like melting inside our mouth.

- Menu -

The serving are reasonable with portion that really inviting. No wonder a lots of people are there for breakfast!

Till then!
