Kuala Lumpur, W. Persekutuan (K.L.)
For us Malaysian, it's hardly for us explore Kuala Lumpur in details. It's just shopping, shopping and working trip at most.
Recently, after my trip to KL for Bridging Guilds International ’s event by Girl Guides Association Malaysia for the guilds (I'm an adult guide), I have the chance to experience the historical faces KL. It's my first to stay very close to Petaling Street, just in the center of KL.
With my mom and aunts, we were staying at one superior room and another with standard room. Surprisingly, my aunt's never been to this side of KL. The prefer to stay at familiar place such as Mid Valley. 😅
Premier Room
Basically, it is a family room for 3 - 4 person.
Superior Room
Spacious and comfortable room size would be one good condition for us.
Standard Room
Similar to superior, just room size differences.
My room overlooking to Petaling Street's entrance.
Our view from our room at 8th floor.
Welcome Notes
Over looking entrance to China town (Petaling Street)
Half of our day spending our time at nearby tourist spots, afraid not! We took quite a number of photographs, especially at the Kwai Chai Hong (鬼仔巷).
Piggy pastry
From the old time favourite Fong Wong Pastry, opposite Petaling Street food court.
I'm in love with the building sculptures that we could see the local authority is trying their best to uplift the building and keeping the history alive, to preserve the old KL.
The street behind our hotel. it could lead us to Central Market for art shopping.
The white building ahead is Pacific Express Hotel, Chinatown, formerly it was a mall and currently the highest floor shall be the unit for Fui Chiu Association use.
The Cafe at Pacific Express Hotel
Serving Malaysian breakfast with fried noodles, eggs, fried rice and toasts as well.
We do have the option to book our rooms with breakfast during our stay.
There's always an option to walk down to Petaling Street for some local breakfast along the street!
Central Market
Gorgeous place that we could spent hours. Back then, Central Market is less crowded with less things to see.
Now, there's tourists and local that will be there for dine in and shopping. Non the less, weekly traditional dances show. How lovely is that!
