Bed and Breakfast at Gunter's Gasthaus German Restaurant, K. K., Sabah

How did you feel when you first step in to a themed restaurant?

I felt warm and it feels like I'm stepping into a fairy land that relaxed me.

There are a lot of big and small decorations and paints surrounded at every corner of the restaurant, and even their washroom too! It's cute, beautiful and it makes me can't stop looking around.

Heard my mom saying that currently Gunter's serves buffet styled breakfast with RM6.00 only and eat as much as we can. And one fine Saturday, me, meatball and her friend went there for a try and did some inspections on their Boutique Rooms too.

They serves western and local food from Curry, Porridge, Oatmeals, Spaghetti, bread etc etc... However, not much selections that we could choose like what we can choose from the hotel's buffet. It's totally worth for me to pay RM6.00 (includes Coffee or Tea) and had my breakfast at such a beautiful relaxing environment.

We expected a normal breakfast with RM6.00 only and don't expect too much from them!

The Curry was good, and the brinjal was tasty. For your information, they serve good salad as usual!

I was born to live and to eat. I must try all kind of food!

Do their settings reminds us the Candle light dinner with your love one?

They do provide Garden Cabana, and its ALL NIGHT LONG! I'm imagining me and my love one having Cabana Dinner now..... I like!

An inspection was done by us, guided by the friendly staff to their Boutique Rooms that tourists can have their bed and breakfast for their backpackers trip. Reasonable price allocated for them too.

It is air- conditioned, therefore no worries for sleepless night.

As what we can see when we entered their main entrance, leaflets of their services, food and the unexpected entertainments like Belly Dancing are laid on the table. I took some for reference too!

They wrote :

"Nothing is Impossible at GUNTER'S, just ask!"

Pedicure, manicure, hair cuts, private party and so much to mention can be requsted... Just ask them for assistance.

Check out Gunter's Gasthaus at night for their dinner and they serve lunch too! - click

Black Pool - Photo of the Day

I have thousand words to say in secret.... however.... I would keep it to myself.

A random one that I took from my Black Pool, UK's photo album. When it is sunset, people can party at the beach a.k.a the sea during the day.

I miss UK.

Cosplay at Hobbycon 2010, City Mall, K.K., Sabah.

Never thought that I could have the chance to be one of the audience of Hobbycon 2010's event going on at City Mall, K. K. this afternoon.

At the first place, my sister's friend, invited her for a cup of afternoon tea at City Mall, K. K. and I had join them too. We searched for a parking space for more than 1 hour and I was starving in the car!

Cut the craps!!

After the nice afternoon tea we had, we went to the Hobbycon 2010 held at their main entrance/hall. There were a lot of people in their animation characters and I'm impressed with their efforts to doll up themselves! I saw Masked Riders, The hero of Sailormoon and so much animated characters to be mentioned and most of it I never seen before~

Yus, the man in his costume above impressed most of us and I'm glad that he took the first prize for the event today! Besides, I could see he was sweating and I could see from his facial expression that the costume was quite heavy too.

Saw those two "Kawaii" girls above? They were one of the pretty girls over there.
BTW, the right with cat's paws was my sister's friend girlfriend! ;P

Well... I felt that they were enjoying a lot with the Cosplay's event this afternoon, however we might not be able to feel the same way about it since some of us may not like such animation In facts, everyone do have their interests right?

Towards the end was the distributions of certificates to all the participants who took part in the show listed and the above were the winners of Hobbycon 2010 on 11th December, 2010.

Yus really impressed me a lot!

I saw DEATH NOTE character there too!! The Ghost and I think I didn't saw "L" over there.

Heard that the event was participated by a lot of Sabahan this year with comparison to previous Hobbycon Event held on 2009.

What I could say is... Not bad! It's impressed me since this was my first attempt to such event.

GRAFFITI!

By any "artists" that would love to show their talents!

To end this post with cupcakes (RM30 for 6 pieces) by Boutique cupcakes that us (me and my elder sister) bought at the event!

DORAEMON and .....

The event held for two days, on 11th December 2010 and 12th December 2010!

A question that my sister's friend asked me justnow...

Why no people want to be Hello Kitty as the character one? Maybe I should try it one day.... hmmm *thinking* (And it's never going to happen!)

A short video for you to enjoy. Do enjoy their Magic Show :

【沙巴游】 兵南邦 Fun in Sabah : Penampang - The Fresh Water Aquaculture Station, Kg. Babagon

Continued from what had I missed from my previous post - click here!

In facts, the educational trip was a little bored if we didn't mix around and be apart of it.

The next visiting was -

The Fresh Water Aquaculture Station,

we were late by the time we reach, however the person in charge unlock the entrance for us so that we can take a look inside.

I took some pictures while waiting for the group of students learn about the aquaculture of Kg. Babagon.

We saw tropical fishes inside those ponds!!

After the visiting, we went back to the river and there was a booth that completed with a stage, drums set and all of us went to a "conference room" for short video that introduces Kg. Babagon.

Completed with the short video, the people in charge distributed fish food for us! And we are going to have fun by fish feeding at the river side.

For your information, "Tagal" was done at the river. Besides, "Tagal" is a type of freshwater fishing system that protect the rivers and fisheries for their sustainable (never ending) development.

No fishes can be catch if it is not Tagal season!!

There were fishes went up to the surface when we feed them. I suppose if the weather was good, there will be hundred of fishes "fighting" for those fish foods!

See? People still swimming there~

An afternoon tea session served after the visiting, before we headed to the next destination!

The people of Kg. Babagon sang a few songs (including "Sayang Kinabalu") for us and the student group did learned the local Sumazau dances before leaving Kg. Babagon.

"Fly like a bird and swim like a fish!"

Early B'day Night Out Dinner at JJ Western Food, Damai, KK, Sabah

Having early birthday for myself with T at JJ Western Food located at Damai this year. We didn't dined in at any Japanese Restaurant neither any other fancy restaurants.

Their food was nice however the longer I chew my lamb chop, the salter flavour it became.

-Chicken Chop-

Pepper Jack's Pizza Grill, Lintas, K.K., Sabah

Updated on 22.09.2011 - The Restaurant has closed down.

Been to the restaurant for few times after their soft opening.

Heard moderate comments and bad comments about it, the bad one really made my sister's friends pissed with their service!

As for me, with a price of within RM10.00 to buy a lunch is still okay and the food... I don't really like their spaghetti, it's overcook the other day!

However, I like their drinks but I forget what it was called. Remember to try this drink with soda and ice cream!

The Pizzas~~ I tried all of it, but few of us prefer the Mustard Pizza which doesn't have the heavy flavour mustard in it. The bad thing is the bread was not crunchy and does not make me wanna eat it over and over again. No feel lar.... what to do??

How good if the Pizza was crunchy with lots of cheese on it, just like the pizzas from Wisma Merdeka, prepared by Philippines' chef!

The one I love the most! The mushroom soup! It was full during my first visit, but it turns to be smaller portion on the next visit. *sigh***** Maybe it's because we were having Lunch combo?

Below some of the western food that we had :-

The Australian Burger,
they use real cutted meat! But, it was a bit dry. The fries was good!

The Grilled Chicken

and the Chicken Chop!

The service was a bit slow during our first visit (they told us that the chef was preparing alone and the newly hired didn't come for work, so please bear with it).

FYI, the even have tea time set in the afternoon/ evening. Bread and coffee etc.

Location:
Lintas Plaza, The same row with Pizza Hut and City Vegetarian Restaurant.

"I wanna meet PM!!!" - Namewee

I think most of the citizen of Malaysia knew who is Namawee. He is one of the bravest Malaysian who fight for the liberal's democracy in this country with his countless musics and videos~~ I still remember his first video about the "Negaraku". Do you remember it?

Here is one of his video that combined bits and pieces from scenes recorded for almost a year.
Watch it and give some comments --

3 language of subtitles, don't tell me you don't understand English? Chinese? or Malay??

You are one of a kind, Namewee!
